Not Funny Ha Ha, Funny Burble Burble

So my sis, 8 mo. old niece, mum and sis' mom-in-law will be in town a week from today. I figured this would be a good place to start a working list of stuff I want to do with them. I need help from you Calis and beyond with ideas/suggestions. Since I'm kid illiterate, I certainly could use some help with good places to take a tyke.
  1. Beach, beach and beach (Santa Monica, Venice, Huntington, Laguna, etc)
  2. Third Street Promenade
  3. Victoria Gardens, Rancho Cucamonga
  4. Pasadena (Panda Inn, Father Nature's Lavish Wraps, Old Town, Paseo, Peet's Coffee)
  5. Pink's Hot Dogs
  6. La Luz de Jesus
  7. Hollywood Farmer's Market
  8. Descanso Gardens
  9. The Standard
  10. Shopping on Melrose
  11. Elixir Tonics and Teas
  12. Father's Office, Santa Monica
  13. Glendora Farmer's Market, Sat. evening for foodage and so Brent can check out a demo from Golden Paints at an art store in Glendora

Those all look like really good ideas. I'm not sure what types of things you're all interested in, but a couple other suggestions are:
1. Balboa Island (you can take the ferry over. another interesting spot)
2. Universal City Walk is always interesting to see.
3. Are you doing Disneyland, Knott's, or Magic Mountain, Sea World? All not cheap options, I understand. There are all sorts of interesting and fun things to do in San Diego.
4. Getty Center is worth a visit as is the Museum of Tolerance (albeit a bit of a downer)
5. Queen Mary in Long Beach.
6. Hang out with the fun and fascinating Lassiters? I don't know.

As far as touristing with a tyke in tow, I would say they are pretty easy at a young age. Naps can always fall at inconvenient times, but some babies can sleep anywhere.

I'm sure there are a million things I could put on here, but those were the things that came to Bill's and my mind as we did a quick brainstorm. I hope you have fun!

Thanks for the good suggestions! I actually would like to hang out. We'll have to see how schedules work out and such. I can make all these lists and plans but who knows what will happen once they're here. If it were up to me I'd cram as much stuff as I could into each day.

One word: Las Vegas (OK, two words). Forget all of that other stuff. Send the kids to Circus Circus with grandma (or better yet load em up on Benadryl) and you are free to gamble away all of Brent's hard earned money for a chance to win millions! (No, that's not a dig because you haven't found a job yet). I dunno, that's just my opinon. Kyle.
